Organic Launceston
Launceston is found on the Northern coast of Tasmania and is the docking place for those travelling from the mainland on the famous Spirit of Tasmania. The 'apple isle' is known for it's crisp, pristine countryside so it's no surprise that this Australian state is home to vibrant organic and gourmet food communities. Launceston is smaller than the capital Hobart and although it doesn't have the organic cafe offerings that Hobart has, it has a good selection of organic and natural food stores.
