If you are in the edgy Lower East Side and are looking for top quality organic juices, head straight to Organic Avenue at 116 Suffolk Street. Organic Avenue specialises cold-pressed, organic juices in gorgeous chunky square bottles that are almost as fabulous as the juices themselves. We particularly liked the kale based ‘Green Love’ which is packed with green vegetable goodness and gives you a amazing shot of well-being. A favourite with the likes of A-list lovelies Blake Lively and Gywneth Paltrow you know you are in the right place for healthy living. Although not billed as organic, Babycakes bakery at 248 Broome Street has absolutely mastered the art of making healthy food taste fantastic. This gorgeous pint-sized bakery offers market-leading vegan and gluten-free options and uses healthy wholesome ingredients. We particularly like the gluten-free chocolate brownie cupcakes. If you are looking for an organic grocery store try the popular Earth Matters at 177 Ludlow Street and while you are there visit the café (with free WiFi) where you can find organic salads and juices and great options for vegans. If you are after a bottle (or two) of organic wine see that fantastic range of local and imported wines at Wine Therapy at 171 Elizabeth Street in NoLita.
